Your time is valuable. In the world of social media marketing, time flies! I’m going to show you 5 steps for creating a content calendar so you can save time and money, right after this!
Welcome back, Chris Pagli here from Above & Beyond Marketing Strategies. If you have ever attended one of my Social Media workshops, you have heard me talk about using a content calendar to manage your efforts. They help us plan the types of content we want to put out to our audience and when we want to release it.
Here are 5 steps for putting together your own calendar:
1) Determine how often you want to post
2) What type of content do you want to put out to your audience? You will have to do some research to know what kind of information your audience is looking for so you can give them the content they actually want and not what you think they want.
3) Plan for holidays in advance
4) Have a content bank. I like to batch record video and produce images in advance so that I always have content in the bank.
5) Determine what content you want to release on specific days of the week.
